Brief explanation:

At iClub or the Inflammation Club, we are looking for advanced options for fighting inflammation for injury, sports, fitness, life, and , medications or surgeries. With decades of hard work and clinical experience Red light and Near Infra-red (R-NIR) laser or diodes have come of age. Whether by itself or clinically combined with other good options - R-NIR has seen both great research outcomes and clinical results in so many ways that it may seem a lot of hype. Well, all red light therapies of these wavelengths create cell energy for relief, repair, and rejuvenation.

However, not all R-NIR light therapy has the same power to penetrate dense muscle, fascia, ligaments, or even bone.The light is a photon with a small energy potential which can safely travel through our bodies until it reaches the cell powerhouse where it recharges our energy battery. Depending on the power (watts), frequency (5-5000 hz), and which wave length (600 nm to 1000 nm) the photons can reach safely through our bodies many types of cells.

Red light diodes are able to reach through skin a small distance, NIR lasers are able to safely reach deep or through our head to help brain cells. The way they create cell energy or ATP is the same: when the photon reaches the our cell energy powerhouse called the mitochondria, it shares that potential with the cytochome c oxidase enzyme to help it create cell energy called ATP.
